It is the first thing a buyer wants to know about an Amazon brand and one of the last things a broker memorandum answers. A brand carried by one account is a different asset from the same brand carried by thirty — different margin, different control over price, different answer to "what exactly am I buying".
We sampled 100 Amazon brands across five categories and counted the accounts carrying each one. 48% were carried by exactly one account. 81% by five or fewer. The median was two. So on any given target it is close to a coin flip — which is precisely why it is worth the minute it takes to ask.
This is one measurement, reported and nothing more. It reaches no conclusion about the brand, the seller, or the deal.
Each one named and linked to its Amazon storefront, with its registered business name where Amazon publishes one. Not a number — a list you can click.
How much of the brand's catalog each account actually carries, so a seller with one listing is not read as a seller with forty. The deepest carrier is identified separately, because that is usually the account that matters.
How many accounts Amazon's index associates with the brand, and how many were seen offering in the last month — reported side by side, never subtracted. They are overlapping populations, not nested ones, and the gap between them is not a third number.
One finding proves the tool runs. Two prove the reading discriminates. Both are live pages, and you can re-run either against Amazon yourself.
Neither reading is an accusation. Most brands are legitimately resold — the finding is the structure, and what it means for a deal is your call, not ours.
As it appears on Amazon. Nothing else to supply.

One query against Amazon's seller index. About a minute.
Emailed with a permanent link you can forward. Anyone who opens it can check it.
Flat, because one brand is one measurement regardless of how large the catalog is. The report above it is priced by catalog size; this is not.
One-off purchase. No subscription. No recurring charges. Five checks cost less than one full report on one of them, which is the right order of operations.
Post-NDA, pre-LOI, holding several targets. The cheapest question that can eliminate one — and the one a seller's answer should not be taken on faith.
A column most published pre-LOI scopes do not have. Reproducible in a client deliverable, and re-runnable by the client, which is what makes it evidence rather than assertion.
Who is listed against your brand right now, and which of them is deepest. The same view a buyer's diligence would build on you.
One question, answered well. Here is everything it deliberately does not do.
No subscription. Stripe Checkout. A page you can forward, and anyone can re-run.
🔒 If the brand can't be measured, you're refunded automatically — and still get the page.
† 7-day refund. If Amazon's seller index returns nothing usable for the brand you named, the charge is refunded automatically and the page is still sent to you, marked unmeasured. Refunds aren't offered because the answer wasn't the one you hoped for: a brand carried by thirty accounts is a result, not a failed reading.
